Power supply monitoring
What to do when an alarm is beeping:
If a smoke alarm is beeping about every 45s with the red light blinking at
the same time, replace the battery.
Battery replacement
When the battery power is low and replacement is necessary, a warning
signal will be given - the smoke alarm will “beep” and the red light will blink
at the same time about once per 45 seconds for up to 30 days. The battery
must be replaced immediately when the low battery warning signal starts.
Also, replace the battery if the alarm does not sound when the test button
is pressed. For maximum reliability, replace the battery at least once a year.
When you replace the battery you must press the test button to check that
the smoke alarm is functioning correctly.
