In order to maintain the performance of your

inside the kettle. To descale your kettle you can
use a descalent available from most leading
retail outlets, or the following process:
1. Half fill the kettle with ordinary tap water.
2. Add 30ml (1oz) of white vinegar to the kettle.
3. Boil the mixture and leave standing for 30
seconds repeat this step twice.
4. Empty the mixture and rinse the kettle well.
Note: For extreme build-up, this
procedure may need to be repeated
.
The scale filter will also need to be cleaned
occasionally to remove calcium deposits. To
remove the scale filter, open the lid of the kettle
and grasp the top of the scale filter located just
above the spout. Slide the scale filter out of its
holding slots and through the lid of the kettle.
The scale filter can be cleaned by using a soft
bristled brush and running water or by soaking
it in vinegar. Ensure the scale filter is rinsed
thoroughly in clean water before returning it to the
kettle.
Replace the scale filter by pushing it firmly back
