IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put cord, plug, or mixer body in
water or other liquid. Ensure the appliance does not get wet (water splashes etc.)
and do not use it with wet hands.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use.
6. Avoid contacting moving parts. Touching the moving parts can cause serious
injury.
7. Keep hands, hair and clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils, away from
beaters during operation to reduce risk of injury to persons and/or damage to
mixer.
8. Remove beaters from mixer before washing. Electric shock and/or damage to the
mixer can occur if the mixer is immersed in water.
9. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance
malfunctions, is dropped or damaged in any manner. Potential electric shock or fire
can result from using the mixer if its cord or plug is damaged. Contact Consumer
Service for examination, repair or adjustment. Bring it to a qualified technician for
examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
10. Do not use attachments other than those supplied with this mixer.
11. Do not let cord hand over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces, including
stove. The protective insulation will burn making the appliance inoperable or
unsafe to operate.
12. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven. Exposure
to high heat can damage the exterior of the mixer and/or damage its internal
components.
13. Switch the unit to off position before unplugging the cord to prevent the possibility
of electric shock.
14. When mixing liquids, especially hot liquids, use a tall container or maker small
quantities at a time to reduce spoilage.
15. Do not use outdoors. This unit is designed to be used only indoors.
WARNING : To reduce risk of personal injury, always unplug mixer before inserting
or removing beaters.
