Mac applications themselves may require a few setup steps if you
are opening them for the first time. This may take a few minutes.
Note:
The Mail application may ask you about email account information. Do this:
Brand-new Mac computers: If you don’t have the account info handy,
go ahead and cancel the Mail setup process. The Switch-to-Mac
transfer will still work if you’ve taken it that far.
Older Mac computers: Complete the entire Mail setup, including account information.
