Troubleshooting

Problem:

Easy Install Wizard cannot find my Message Manager

Solution: 

If the Easy Install Wizard is not able to find the Message Manager 

during the installation process your Message Manager may not be 

connected properly.

1. 

  The Easy Install Wizard must be run from the computer that is 

connected to the Belkin Message Manager.

2.

   Make sure that the Belkin Message Manager is ON; the Power 

LED will be green and solid. 

3.

   Make sure the LAN link light that corresponds to the port you 

connected to the computer is ON; check the network cable 

going from the computer to the Belkin Message Manager   is in 
one of the four computer ports and not in the Internet port.  

 

If the Easy Install Wizard is still unable to find the Message 

Manager, reference the section Alternative Setup Method for 

installation steps on page 18 of this manual.
