User Manual

Monitor Port Template

This template is available in all panel modes.

Most Grass Valley video routers which support the RollCall protocol have a number of
dedicated monitor ports (often four); these ports are independent of the normal router
destinations. Monitor ports can monitor signals derived directly or indirectly from router
sources or destinations (router-dependent).

This template is used to determine which type of monitor signal will be selected with a

Monitor Port

button. The G2 Series 1U Router Control Panel is then used to select which

destination / source is monitored.
