Note: Always use the retaining bolt and the pivot bolt to adjust the position of
the antenna. Never force the antenna into position. If you do, they will
break.

3 If needed, adjust the antenna bracket orientation so that there is a 1-inch
(approx. 2.5 cm) minimum clearance between the tip of the antenna and any
other communication cabling and also between the base of the antenna and
any other communication cabling. Ensure the omni-directional antenna
orientation is still vertical with respect to the street level surface once you
are done.
4 Securely tighten the antenna bracket mounting screws, the antenna pivot
bolt and antenna retaining bolt.
5 Repeat step

for the other antenna.
Step 3—Connect
Antennas
The antenna cables may have either hex-heads for wrench tightening or knurled
ends for finger tightening. If the antenna cables have knurled ends, use your
fingers to firmly tighten the connection. If you have hex-heads, do not tighten
these connectors beyond 30 inch-pounds of torque. If a torque wrench is
unavailable, BelAir recommends that these connectors be hand tightened plus
one quarter turn.
