Solution
An excessive amount
foam forms in the
machine. (**)
You have used an inappropriate detergent for the
washing machine.
• Use a detergent suitable for the
washing machine.
The amount of detergent used is
excessive.
• Use only a sufficient amount of
detergent.
The detergent has been stored in poor
conditions.
• Store the detergent in a closed
and dry place. Do not store it in
excessively hot places.
Some linens, such as tulles, etc.
generate too much foam because of
their mesh structure.
• Use small amounts of detergent for
these types of items.
The detergent was placed in the wrong
compartment.
• Put the detergent in the appropriate
compartment.
The fabric softener is being picked up early by
the machine.
• There may be a problem with the valves
or the detergent drawer. Contact the
Authorized Service Agent.
The foam is overflowing from the
detergent drawer.
Too much detergent was used.
• Mix 1 tablespoon of fabric softener in ½
liter of water and pour this mixture into
the main wash compartment of the
detergent drawer.
• Pour the detergent into the machine
suitable for the programs and respect
the maximum loads indicated in the
“Table of programs and consumption”.
If you use additional chemicals (stain
removers, bleaches, etc.), decrease the
amount of detergent.
The laundry remains wet at the
end of the programme. (*)
Too much suds have formed and the
automatic suds absorption system has
been activated due to excessive
detergent use.
• Use the recommended amount
of detergent.
(*) The machine does not switch to the spinning phase when the laundry is not evenly distributed in
the drum in order to prevent any damage to the machine and its surroundings. The laundry must
be put out again and spun again.
(**) The drum is not cleaned regularly. Clean the drum regularly. See item 4.4.2
