Installation instructions
5.3 Exhaust air mode
•
WARNING
Risk of death!
Reabsorbed exhaust gases can cause poisoning.
The exhaust air must not be transferred to a flue
gas duct or waste gas stream or to an exhaust
duct used to ventilate certain places where other
heat sources are installed.
If you want to transfer the exhaust air into a
smoke or inactive waste gas pipe, you must obtain
permission from an authorized chimney cleaner.
If the exhaust air is released over the outside wall,
a telescopic wall cassette must be used.
5.4 The air outlet
Information: The appliance manufacturer is not
responsible for faults caused by the pipes used.
•
The machine works at full performance when
using a short and flat air outlet pipe with as
large a diameter as possible.
•
When using long, hard ducts, multiple L-pipes
or pipes with diameters of less than 150 mm,
an optimal ventilation performance can not be
achieved and the fan noise level increases.
•
Pipes or hoses used for the exhaust air route
must not be made of flammable materials.
Circular piping
The inside diameter is recommended to be 150
mm or at least 120 mm.
Flat tubes
The inner section must correspond to the diameter
of the circular pipes.
Ø 150 mm aprox. 177 cm²
Ø 120 mm aprox. 173 cm²
•
The flat tubes must not have sharp L-pipes.
•
Use sealing tapes for pipes with different
diameters.
5.5 Checking the wall
•
The wall must be flat, straight and should have a
sufficient load capacity.
•
The depth of the holes must correspond to the
length of the bolts. The dowel pins must fit.
•
Mounting screws and dowels must be suitable
for use in rigid monolithic walls. Use suitable
fasteners for different types of construction (eg
gypsum board, aerated concrete, proton bricks).
5.6 Electrical connection
•
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
Device components may have sharp edges. The
connection cable may be damaged. Do not bend or
squeeze the power cord during installation.
The required connection data is provided on the
label inside the machine; metal grease filters must
be removed to see the label.
Connection cable length:
approx. 1.3 m.
This device complies with the EU Interference
Removal Guidelines.
Make sure disconnecting the appliance from the
mains socket is always possible. The appliance
must be connected to a protected contact
socket, installed in accordance with the current
regulations. If the plug can not be reached
after installation or during the required fixed
connection, there must be several pole separation
systems with a contact distance of at least 3 mm
from the installation. The fixed connection must
only be executed by an authorised technician.
