This section includes the safety
instructions that will help providing
protection against personal injury
and material loss risks. Failure to
follow these instructions invalida-
tes the granted warranty.
1.1 General safety
•
Do not use the appliance outdo-
ors or in the bathroom.
•
No responsibility or warranty
claim shall be assumed for da-
mages arising from misuse or
improper handling of the appli-
ance.
•
Do not certainly attempt to se-
parate or break into pieces the
mounting parts of the appliance.
•
Only use the original parts or
parts recommended by the ma-
nufacturer.
•
Always use the appliance on a
stable, flat, clean dry, and non-
slip surface.
•
The appliance should not be
operated with an external clock
timer or separate remote control
system.
•
Before using the appliance for
the time, clean all parts. Please
see the details given in the "Cle-
aning and Maintenance" section.
•
Ensure that that the product is
turned off before moving it.
•
During the brewing, it is inconve-
nient to open the brewing room
as there is hot tea and steam in-
side, risk of burning may arise.
•
Do not move the appliance when
it is still hot or when there is li-
quid inside the water boiler and
decander.
•
Avoid contacting the hot surfa-
ces. Hold the water boiler and
decander by its handle only;
otherwise, there is a risk of bur-
ning. Water boiler and decander
get hot while using.
•
Glass of water boiler, brewing
chamber, brewing room, decan-
der glass and especially the bot-
tom surface (sheet metal surface)
on which the decander is seated
get hot while using. Therefore, do
not touch those areas while using
and until the appliance gets cold.
•
Close the lid of water boiler in
order to avoid splashes of water
when the water boils. Close the
lid of decander and the lid of bre-
wing room tightly during brewing.
