Controls when configured as a Timer

The BA577E-SS is controlled and configured via four
front panel push buttons.     In the display mode i.e.
when   the   instrument   is   displaying   time   the   push
button functions are:

Displays when configured as a Timer

The   BA577E-SS   has   two   digital   displays   and
associated annunciators as shown on front cover of
this manual.

Elapsed time

The   upper   display   shows   the
elapsed   time   since   the   Timer
was started when 

timing-up

zero  and   the   remaining   time
when  

timing-down

  from   the   set

time.       The   display   may   be
formatted as  hh:mm:ss; hh:mm;
mm:ss or ss. 

Lower display

The display options available on
the   lower   display   depend   on
whether   the   Timer   repeat   cycle
function

,   which   can

repeat the timing period up to 99
times,   or   continuously   with   a
configurable   delay   between
periods, is enabled.

The lower display shows the set

total   number   of   repeat   cycles
requested   together   with   the
