Appropriate Usage
The instrument may only be used under
those conditions and for those purposes for
which it was conceived. For this reason, in
particular the safety references, the techni-
cal data including environmental conditions
(and the usage in dry environments must be
followed.
When modifying or changing the instru-
ment, the operational safety is no lon-
ger ensured.
The instrument may only be opened by
an authorised service technician, e.g. for
fuse replacement.
Operating Elements and Con-
nections
1. Test lead with safety plug
2. LED for optical continuity test
3. Warning lamp for voltages > 50V
Measurements
Preparation and safety measures
No voltage on the test object.
Make sure that the test leads are unda-
maged.
Use the instrument only in clean and dry
surroundings.
