Do not let the power cord hang over corners (trip-wire effect).
CAUTION – material damage

Never place the utensil near a gas flame, electric hotplate or other source of heat.
External heat can damage the utensil.

We recommend that the appliance isn’t used for sucking up sharp-edged objects (e.g.
shards of glass).

Empty the dust container in time (see chapter 7 “Cleaning and storage”). Using the
appliance with a full dust container will affect the service life and performance of the
motor.

Before initial operation
Make sure that all packaging material has been removed from the appliance
(protective film etc.).
Check that all parts are there (see chapter 3 “Description of appliance and scope of
delivery”). The scope of delivery consists of the following individual parts:

Leave the specification plate and any warning notices on the appliance.
CAUTION: Make sure that the appliance is not damaged. If parts are damaged,
do not operate the appliance. Instead, contact qualified service personnel.
