Insert the plug into the mains socket,
the display lighting lights up.
Set the number of cups to

Press the
button (21) to switch
on the grinder.
Wait until all the water has run through
and the "cup" symbol (22) in the display
starts
fl
ashing.
Empty the coffee jug (7) and pour the
coffee away.
Clean the coffee jug (7) with warm wa-
ter and washing-up liquid.
Wipe the appliance and the accesso-
ries with a slightly damp cloth.

When using for the

rst time, it is pos-

sible that production-related additives
such as grease could cause slight
odour or smoke. This is completely
normal. Ensure suf

cient ventilation.

Unpacking
Remove the appliance, all accessory
parts and the user manual from the
box.
Remove all packaging materials and
protective foils from the product and
the accessories before using it for the

rst time.

the appliance in order to return the
appliance in the packaging in the
event of a warranty or guarantee
claim. Transport damage will invali-
date the warranty or guarantee.
Checking the delivery contents
Check for visible signs of damage or
missing items.
Report incomplete or damaged con-
tents to your supplier immediately.
Before using for the first time
Fill the water tank (13) up to mark
10
with fresh water as described in the
section

Fill with coffee as described in the

Rinse the

lter insert (11) with clear
water and put it into the
fi
lter compart-
ment (10).
