Handling the low-energy pot
Opening the lid
Hold both quick-lock handles (5) tightly
‹
and pull them outwards (image A1).
Lift the lid upwards.
‹
Closing the lid
Put the lid with the sealing ring onto the
‹
pot so that the lid is seated properly.
Press both quick-lock handles together
‹
towards the middle (image A2).
Inserting the sealing ring
Place the sealing ring evenly into the
‹
groove provided in the inner edge of
the lid.
Cooking with the
low-energy pot
Checking the valves
Check the safety valves before using each
time.
Look into the openings from below,
‹
leftovers or other objects may not clog
up the openings.
The valves must be cleaned if they are dirty
as described in the section Cleaning and
care (page 10)
.
Cooking with the low-energy pot
Put the ingredients into the low-energy
‹
pot.
Check that the sealing ring is correctly
‹
seated as described in section Insert-
ing the sealing ring (page 10) .
Close the lid of the low-energy pot as
‹
described in the section Closing the
lid (page 10) .
Put the low-energy pot onto the cooker
‹
and switch it on to maximum level.
Reduce the heat supply when steam
‹
escapes from the regulating valve (2).
Cooking then begins.
Opening the low-energy pot
To open the low-energy pot, loosen
‹
the quick-lock handles and simply lift
off the lid as described in the section
Opening the lid (page 10)
.
NOTE
The glass lid (10) is not locked by the ►
quick-lock handles. It is simply placed
into the pot (image B).
Cleaning and maintenance
Before cleaning, allow the low-energy pot to
cool down to avoid burning!
Low-energy pot
For cleaning, use a commercially avail- ■
able washing-up liquid and dry the low-
energy pot thoroughly.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or hard
■
sponges for cleaning as they may
scratch the surfaces.
