Before Initial Use
Operation
Thermostat Control
The thermostat control (

) is used to switch the device on and off and set the temperature of
the water.
Switch on
Turn the thermostat control clockwise until it resists.
Switch off
Turn the thermostat control anticlockwise until it resists.
The heating control lamp (

) lights up as soon as the heating element of the device starts
heating the water. The heating control lamp lights up at intervals when the water is boiling at
intervals.
Removing / Attaching the Lid
1. Hold the lid (

) at the lid handles (

) and pull it upwards.
If the device has been in operation, use potholders or similar gloves as the lid might be
hot. Always allow the device to cool down before using it again.
2. To close the lid, place it on the
water reservoir (

).
Filling the Water Reservoir
Only ever
fi
ll the water reservoir (
6
) with fresh, clear tap water. Do not pour in any other
liquids.
3. Take off the lid (

) (see the “Removing / Attaching the Lid” section).
4. Pour the desired quantity of water (maximum 3 litres) into the water reservoir. Note
the
MAX
marking. Make sure, the lever (

) is turned to the left (see chapter “Operati-
on” | “Operating the Discharge Tap”).
5. Close the lid (see the “Removing / Attaching the Lid” section).
Operating the Discharge Tap
1. Turn the lever (
12
) to the front. The discharge tap (

) opens and water
fl
ows out (

2. Turn the lever back to the left when the quantity of water you want has been removed.
The discharge tap closes again (
