Put the hedge
trimmer deck in the
desired position.

The trimmer is not suitable for trimming
at ground level. The risk that the cutter
blades will touch the ground and/or any
obstacles is too great for this hedge
trimmer design.

Switch on the hedge
trimmer.
•

•
It is important always to switch on and off
at a low revolution speed to prevent
damage to the machinery. The revolution
speed can be increased after engaging the
lifting arm.
Switching on and off
at a high speed of
revolutions will result
in system overload.

Trimming the hedge.

Adjust your driving speed to the quality of
trimming you want.
If you drive too
quickly the trimmed
hedge will look
untidy

Stop in the following
situations!!
•
The operator
must stop immediately
in
the following situations and switch off the
hedge trimmer:
•
If persons or animals enter or risk
entering the danger area which is 5 to
10 metres around the hedge trimmer.
This is left to the judgment of the
driver.
•
If persons or animals enter or risk
entering the danger area of 10 to 15
metres in front of the hedge trimmer.
This is left to the judgment of the
driver.
•
The hedge trimmer makes a different
noise or starts to vibrate.
•
If the cutter blades come into contact
with materials which are different from
what the hedge trimmer is designed for.
Serious injury could
result if the
machinery is not
stopped in time.
