KL1512 - Terminal configuration
The terminal can be configured and parameterized via the internal register structure. Each terminal channel
is mapped in the Bus Coupler. Mapping of the terminal data in the Bus Coupler memory may differ,
depending on the Bus Coupler type and the set mapping configuration (e.g. Motorola/Intel format, word
alignment etc.).
In contrast to analog input and output terminals, in the KL1512 the control byte and the status byte
are
always
mapped, irrespective of the fieldbus system used.
BK2000 Lightbus Coupler
When using the Lightbus coupler BK2000, the KL1512 is automatically mapped with 6 bytes of input data
and 6 bytes of output data.

BK3000 Profibus Coupler
When using the Profibus coupler BK3000, the KL1512 is automatically mapped with 6 bytes of input data
and 6 bytes of output data.

BK4000 Interbus Coupler
When using the Interbus coupler BK4000, the KL1512 is automatically mapped with 6 bytes of input data
and 6 bytes of output data.
