2.2. Using the Product
Ensure that all packaging material has been removed before using the
appliance. To remove any manufacturing residue, use 2 or 3 times in
succession by following the instructions described below.
• Place the appliance on a stable flat surface, where it is protected
from impacts and away from the edges.
• Open the kettle’s lid by pulling the slot to open the lid and fill it with
natural water at normal temperature.
• Close the lid by pushing downwards until it slots into place.
• The water level should not be below the minimum level (0.5 L) nor
above the maximum level (1.5 L) shown on the kettle.
• Place the kettle on the base, making sure that it is properly docked.
• Ensure that the On/Off switch is in the off position before plugging
the appliance into an outlet.
• Plug the appliance into a power outlet that is in good working
condition and earthed. Check that the mains voltage is compatible
with that shown on the appliance.
• Press the On/Off switch into the On position, the operating indicator
light will light up.
• The appliance switches off automatically when the water reaches
boiling point.
• If you wish to switch off the appliance before the water reaches
boiling point, press the On/Off switch into the Off position.
• The operating indicator light switches off when the water reaches
boiling point or when the On/Off switch is pressed into the Off position.
