Safety Instructions When Operating
the Curling Iron
• This iron is very hot when in use. Do not let
eyes and/or bare skin or heat-sensitive areas
touch any hot parts or surfaces of the iron.
• The curling iron must not come into contact
with flammable materials. The iron must
also not be used near flammable materials
as the iron can reach high temperatures of
approximately 390ºF.
• Never cover the curling iron with any other
objects.
• Do not place or rest the iron on any surfaces
while it is switched on.
• Remove the power plug from the power
outlet after every use, before cleaning, and if
the curling iron is not functioning properly.
• Do not pull on the power cable and do not
carry the curling iron using the power cable.
Safety Instructions for Cleaning and
Maintenance
• Always disconnect the curling iron from
power and allow the iron to cool down
before cleaning, performing maintenance, or
if faults occur during operation.
• Do not pull on the power cable to remove
the plug from the power outlet.
• Do not remove the power plug from the
outlet with wet hands.
Risk of Electric Shock!
• If the power cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, service agent
or similarly qualified personnel in order to
avoid potential hazards.
• This curling iron may be used by children
over 8 years old and by dependents if they
are properly supervised and have been made
fully aware of the risks of use. Children should
not play with the curling iron. Cleaning and
user maintenance should not be performed
by children without supervision.
• Do not use this curling iron near bathtubs,
showers, basins or other areas containing
water.
• After use, or if pausing use for a significant
length of time, unplug the iron from power
and let it cool down completely before
storing it.
• Protect the curling iron from moisture.
Never put it into the dishwasher and never
immerse it in water.
Risk of Burns with Hair Spray!
Do not use any sprays, styling agents and
other inflammable chemical hair care products
as hair sprays and styling agents may cause
burning when coming into contact with the
hot curling iron. This may cause significant
damage to the hair and skin!
