FASTEN THE CAMERA TO BABY’S BED
- For improved performance of your video baby monitor and in order to reduce interference, we
recommend that you do not connect other electrical appliances to the same power socket as your
video baby monitor. (Do not use multi-socket adapters).
- Before plugging the camera into the mains, make sure that the voltage indicated on the video baby
monitor adapter corresponds to the mains voltage.
- If the appliance is not being used, unplug it to switch it off and place it out of the reach of children.
- The product must be installed by adults. Keep small parts out of the reach of children while
assembling.
Adult supervision
- The camera is designed to offer assistance and ensure additional peace of mind. It must not be
seen as a medical device or as a substitute for adult supervision. It may not in any case replace the
responsible and appropriate supervision of an adult: it is strongly advised that an adult checks baby
regularly in addition to using the camera.
- Never leave the house if your child is alone, even for a short while.
- Never place the camera inside the cot or bed, or playpen.
- Place the camera in a stable position using the flexible rod or the assembly support if needed.
- For their safety, do not let children play with the BEABA ZEN Connect camera.
Storage precautions
- Use and store the video in a place where the temperature is between 10 °C and 35 °C.
- Keep the video out of direct sunlight.
- Do not store the adapter cable in a place where it may deteriorate quickly (humidity/heat, etc.).
Replacing equipment
- Use the adapter supplied for the camera. If needed, you can use the same type as the adapter
supplied.
- If the micro USB connector is damaged or out of shape, stop using it. Contact the Beaba After-
Sales service for assistance, or replace it with the same type of adapter.
- Do not twist the camera’s handle excessively.
- Do not fold the top of the camera or the zone near the power supply connector.

Reset
Press the “Reset” button for 5 seconds to reset the appliance (if you have
modifi ed the settings, the default settings will be displayed again). Press for 1
second to activate the Wi-Fi connection in manual mode.
III. INSTALLING AND CONFIGURING THE VIDEO BABY MONITOR
a. Installing the camera
Plug the camera into the mains using the adapter supplied and place it at least 1 metre from your
baby’s head and up to 2.5 metres from baby in order to enjoy good picture quality.
The camera is not equipped with a battery and must be kept plugged in in order to work.

supports. The camera must not under any circumstances be fastened to a cot with bars
or within baby’s

You can also fasten the camera to a number of surfaces (wall, partition, unit, etc.)
using the assembly support supplied (it can be fastened with the screws or the adhesive
