DISH LOADING TIPS
•
Scrape off leftover food before loading in dishwasher.
•
Load items such as cups, glasses, pots/pans, etc. face down.
•
Curved items, or those with recesses, should be loaded at a slant so water can run off.
•
Place utensils securely so they cannot fall over.
•
Do not cover smaller items with larger items.
•
Do not place small items in dishwasher as they could fall during washing.
•
Do not allow a glass item to touch another glass item.
•
Load large items directly on the rack.
•
Load sharp items carefully so they do not damage the door seal.
•
Load knives and sharp utensils into the basket with the sharp end pointing down.
•
Load long items horizontally on the rack.
•
Make sure the spray arms spin freely and their rotation is not obstructed.
•
Do not overload the dishwasher.
Items that are NOT dishwasher safe:
•
Utensils with wood or mother-of-pearl
•
Items with a metal trim
•
Plastic items that are not heat resistant
•
Older utensils with glued parts
•
Bonded items
•
Pewter or copper items
•
Crystal glass
•
Steel items
•
Wood platters
•
Items with synthetic fiber
