10.5.2 Flow curve before Y-
Piece
This curve shows the flow curve in the inspiration channel
before the Y-piece. The first two circles mark the triggers that
should be used here.
The figure above shows another little false signal at this
measuring point after inspiration. This was due to the valves
switching over and caused a false trigger!
Warning: Flow may not be used as the trigger in
this instance
– the pressure curve should be used.
