This view shows a connection of the device with the superordinate SPC. In the local network, the
fieldbus is activated separately for each device.
The use of the fieldbus can be safe, non-safe or both. The use can be selected in the properities
window. The design of line for the fieldbus changes according to the selected use.
Safe use is indicated by a solid red line.
Non-safe use is indicated by a dashed line:
If both possibilities are used, this is inidicated by a double orange-blue line:
4.11.2.3. Configuration
To configure the properties of this network, the user can either click on the fieldbus line, or he can
select the fieldbus in the browser via the properties window with defined propertiesThe properties

For information transmission via this bus, a fixed size is available (e. g. 98 bit). This information (e.

shared with the process data (e. g. velocity, position in the form of bytes. The other part can also
be used for the transmission of the logic information. Network configuration depends on the preset
profiles.
