In case UL 508 C is considered: the maximum short-circuit current of the supply may be
10000 A.
A listing of the requirements to the electrical supply is to be found in Z D.1 Requirements
on the power supply – on page 98.
h Assure, that the existing supply fulfills all requirements.
6.4 Cable requirements
In the technical specifications, see ( Z Appendix D - Technical specifications – from page
97) you will find all data, e.g. environmental conditions, electrical connection data and oth-
er which must be observed when choosing a cable. The BUM64S/A/F unit meets the UL
requirements, if you use the respective cables and if you carry out the fastening of the
cables accordingly.
Further information you will find in the appendix under Z Cable from mains supply to
appliance – on page 104, Z Cable for control voltage supply / signals – on page 104 and
Z Cable from appliance to motor – on page 105.
h make sure that all cables used meet the requirements.
6.5 Connections
In the following we give you detailed information about the connections. A summary is
shown in the
Z Connection diagram – on page 58.
NOTE
If UL508C is applied: connect only 60 °C / 75 °C copper lines. Carry out the fastening of the
power connections with the correct torque, see also information given in Z Connection
diagram – on page 58.
