Before Use Checklist

Ensure that you carry out all procedures below before starting the engine or operating the
equipment. All procedures described are generic in nature and slight variations between different

models may exist.

Failure to follow the checklist and carry out the procedures correctly may result in

making the product warranty void

Assembly

Prior to assembly, unpack all components and check that all items have been received.

1.  With the engine upside-down, place the gearbox (

A

) into position over the clutch housing (

B

) and secure

it using 4 M6x20 screws, flat and lock washers (

C

). Securely tighten the screws using the Allen key.

2.  Attach each handle (

D

) to the sides of the gearbox plate (

E

) – the handles can be mounted to either the

inside (shown) or outside edges of the plate. Ensure that the handles will angle upward when the
machine is held vertically. The handle with throttle control and engine switch can be mounted on either
left or right-hand side. Secure each handle using 4 M8x25 screws, spring and flat washers and nuts (

F

).

Securely tighten the screws using the Allen key and spanner.
