ELECTRICAL SAFETY

NOTE - This appliance must be grounded.  In the event of a malfunction or
breakdown, grounding will reduce the risk of electric shock by providing a path of

least resistance of electrical current.  You will be able to tell if it is because a non-
grounded appliance will give off an electrical discharge.

Manufacturer declines all responsibility for any damage due to non-grounding of
appliance.  READ THIS SECTION TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK OR

INJURY WHEN USING YOUR ICE MAKER.

DURING THE GUARANTEE PERIOD ONLY BAUMATIC SERVICE ENGINEERS OR AN AUTHORISED
AGENT OF BAUMATIC SHOULD CARRY OUT REPAIRS ON THIS UNIT.

DO NOT USE IF THE SUPPLY CORD IS DAMAGED.

ONLY PLUG INTO A GROUNDED 3 PIN OUTLET.

CHECK THE POWER SUPPLY IS RIGHT FOR THE MACHINE (SEE SPECIFICATIONS ON
NAMEPLATE AT THE BACK OF THE UNIT).

DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD.

DISCONNECT FROM THE POWER MAINS BEFORE SERVICING.

DO NOT PULL DIRECTLY ON THE WIRE WHEN PLUGGING IN OR UNPLUGGING THE UNIT.

BEFORE USING

POSITIONING:

The Ice Maker should be positioned:

Horizontally.

Kept at least 200mm away from the wall or objects around it.

Do not install the ice maker near an oven, radiator, or other heat source.

The machine should stand for at least 3 hours before you use it for

the first time after transportation to ensure the refrigerant settles
back in the compressor and avoids damaging the machine.

Before you use your new machine, we recommend that you wash out the
interior cabinet, ice cube tray and storage bin. Then you should lock the
seal cover of the drain port at the back of the machine. When the above
steps are OK, then you can fill pure or boiled water that has cooled (about
2.3 Liters) into the water tank and cover it for operation.
