Selecting a wash program

Load your laundry and put detergent in the relevant
compartment of the soap drawer.

Close the porthole door firmly.

Turn the wash program selection knob to your desired wash
cycle.

The LCD display will show the approximate time the chosen wash
cycle will take to complete.

Select any relevant program options using the four buttons
underneath the LCD display. The program option symbols that
you have selected will appear on the LCD display.

If required, make alterations to the spin speed by using the Spin
Selection button.
o
Any program options that you select, will affect the length of
time that the wash cycle will take to complete. The LCD display
will update to reflect this change.

Press the Start/Stop button.
o
The LOCK DOOR light will go out
o
After approximately 5 seconds, you will hear your washing
machine start the wash cycle.
o
The wash program progress indicator will advance on the LCD
display as the wash program progresses. When the wash and
rinse stage of the wash cycle have completed, the corresponding
symbols will disappear from the LCD display.
o
If there is a power failure or the plug is pulled out of the
socket when a wash cycle is in progress. Once power has
been restored, the wash program will continue.
o
If the power is cut to the machine or the wash program
selector knob is turned to the off position and more than
one minute elapses. The door lock will no longer be
engaged and it will be possible to open the porthole door
of the appliance. You should take care not to open the
door whilst there is still water inside the drum.
