instructions with the assistance of these instructions for
use.
Know Your Apparatus:
This device is used to find wooden or metal studs through drywall boards.. It can
detects live wires.
- Battery: 9V DC (NOT INCLUDED)
- Operating temperature: -2° C – 40° C
Caution
1. Should always be made when nailing, cutting or drilling in walls, floors
and ceiling that may contain these items. To avoid electrical, plumbing, etc,
remember that studs or joists are normally spaced 406 mm or 610 mm
apart and are 38 mm in width. Anything closer together of a different width
may not be a not be a stud, joist or rebar.
2. Anytime when you find a stud, use AC detecting mode to verify it is a hot wire or
not.
3. When “lighting” symbol shows on the LCD, that means there is hot wire nearby,
do not work in this área
4. Always turn off power when working near electric wires.
5. To avoid interference while scanning, keep your free hand and other objects, at
least 6 in (15 cm) away from the tool.

Special Safety Instruction of use:
When using battery-powered tools, basic safety precautions, including the following,
should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, leaking batteries, personal injury
and material damage.
Never attempt to open the battery for any reason.
Do not store the battery in locations where the temperature may exceed 40 ºC.
When disposing of batteries, follow the instructions given in the section” protecting
the environment”
Do not incinerate batteries.
Under extreme conditions, battery leakage may occur, when you notice liquid on the
batteries, proceed as follows: carefully wipe the liquid off using a cloth. Avoid skin
contact.
