• Before using the charger, read all instructions and warnings on the charger and
battery.
• Connect the charger to a power grid which voltage is identical to that indicated on the
nameplate.
• Do not pull the power cord of the charger to disconnect it from the outlet or to transport
it.
• The charger and battery packs supplied with it are specifically designed to work
together. Do not attempt to charge the battery with another charger.
• Only use the charger indoors, do not expose it to weather, high temperatures or
moisture.
• Do not use the charger if it has been subjected to severe blow, dropped or otherwise
damaged in any way. Take the charger to an authorized service center for servicing and
repair.
Charger use and care
Assure that the maintenance and repair of your power tool by a qualified repair person
using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool
is maintained.
Service
CAUTION!
Take care when unpacking. Remove the machine and the accessories
supplied from the packaging. Check the contents carefully to ensure that the machine is
in good condition and has all the accessories listed in this manual. Also, make sure that
all accessories are included. If any parts are found to be missing, the machine and its
accessories should be returned together in their original packaging to the retailer. Do not
throw the packaging away, keep it safe throughout the guarantee period. After this
period, recycle it if possible or dispose of it by the proper means. Do not let children play
with empty plastic bags due to the risk of suffocation.
Unpacking
Battery use and care
a) Charge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. Some chargers are
compatible for certain batteries, but there is a risk of fire when used with others.
b) Use the power tool only with batteries designed specifically for it. Using other
batteries may create a risk of injury and fire.
c) When the batteries are not in use, keep them away from other objects such as clips,
coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that may connect the terminals.
Connecting the battery terminals may cause burns or fire.
d) In extreme conditions, the liquid may be expelled from the battery: avoid contact. In
case of accidental contact, rinse with water. If liquid comes into contact with eyes, seek
medical help. Liquid expelled from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
General safety instructions
• Do not disassemble the charger. Take it to an authorized service center when service
or repair is required. Incorrect assembly may result in risk of fire, electric shock or
electrocution.
DANGER!
If the battery is cracked or damaged, do not insert it into the charger. There
is a danger of electric shock or electrocution.
WARNING!
Do not allow any liquid to come into contact with the charger. There is a
risk of electric shock.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the charger from the power supply before
cleaning. Removing just the battery does not reduce the risk.
NOTE:
Our battery charger is built with an intelligent electronic system that protects the
battery from electrical and temperature overloads in the process of charging power,
disconnecting the electrical connection between both when the battery reaches its
maximum load, thus achieving greater safety.
