INSTRUCTIONS
Important:
If, by opening, the glass ball is broken, please repack and return the unit to where you bought it.
Do not plug in the unit or attempt to operate it.
Caution:
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not attempt to dismantle this product. There are no user
serviceable parts inside. Do not attempt to remove the glass ball. Refer servicing to qualified service
personnel.
Setting up:
Plug the adaptor into your AC power supply and plug the DC jack into the Plasma Ball. Put the switch
“ON”. The Plasma Ball responds to your touch. The display streamers will be attracted to your hand
as it nears and touches the ball. You may experience a slight tingling sensation which is caused by
vibrations as the electrons strike the surface of the ball.
By moving the switch to the “AUDIO” position, the Plasma Ball will respond to all sounds, musical or
vocal.
Important safety instructions:
Do not allow the unit to overheat. Allow adequate ventilation around the base. Never place it near or
over a radiator, fire place or other sources of heat.
Always unplug the unit when cleaning the glass globe. You can use any glass cleaner. It should be
applied with a soft, slightly dampened clean cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Before cleaning,
make sure that the power is switched off and the AC adaptor is disconnected. Never immerse the unit
in water.
Never remove the bottom cover of the unit, or attempt to remove the glass ball. If the unit is dropped,
causing obvious breakage, unplug it immediately. If damage is suspected or if there is a distinct
change in performance, immediately unplug the adaptor.
• Do not plug into a power source with an incorrect electrical outlet.
• If the system is not going to be used for a period of time, unplug it from the power source.
• Keep liquids and ornamental objects from coming into contact with the glass ball.
• The unit is designed for indoor use only. Do not use in or near any sources of water or moisture,
e.g. bath, shower, sink etc.
• Always operate the Plasma Ball on a flat, firm, stable surface, and at room temperature.
• Do not operate on a warm surface.
• Keep out of the reach of children and animals.
