The product is intended for illuminating indoor areas; it may only may be installed and operated
in dry, enclosed, indoor spaces.
Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included in these operating
instructions!
Any other use than that described above may damage the product. Moreover, this may give rise
to hazards such as short-circuiting, fire, electric shock, etc.

The product is only intended to be installed and used in dry indoor spaces, it must not
get damp or wet.

When installing and operating the product, it must not be embedded in the
insulating material, since this may lead to overheating. Otherwise, there is a
danger of fire!
Please observe minimum distance between light exit openings and illuminated
surfaces (readily combustible objects, e.g. curtains, and the like). The relevant
minimum distance is specified on the light (minimum distance on the example
picture on the left is 0.1 m).

Safety Instructions
Read the complete operating manual carefully before using the product, as it
contains important information about the correct installation and operation.
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any consequential
damage!
Nor do we assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The warranty will
be void in such cases!
Caution!
The LED transformer comes supplied with a Euro power cable, so the connec-
tion is very simple.
If this is removed in order to connect the LED transformer directly to a screw
clamp, for example, make sure that this is only done by a qualified electrical
specialist (e.g. an electrician) who is familiar with the applicable regulations
(e.g. VDE, German electrical wiring regulations)!
Improper work, carried out on the mains voltage, endangers not only your own
life but also the life of others!
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not allowed for
safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children! There is a
risk of a lethal electric shock!
• The LED transformer may only be operated on the mains voltage (see section
„Technical Data“), otherwise it will be damaged.
The recessed LED luminaries contained in the set may only be operated using the
enclosed LED transformer.
• The design of the LED transformer complies with safety class II.
• Never connect the outputs (low voltage) with two or more LED transformers! This
will destroy all transformers and luminaries!
• Do not pull the mains plug from the mains socket by pulling on the cable. Always
pull the plug from the mains socket by only gripping the area provided on the side.
• This product is only to be installed and used in dry conditions indoors. The product
must not get damp or wet as there is danger of a fatal electric shock!
• Do not use this product in rooms or under adverse ambient conditions where com-
bustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be present! There is a risk of explosion!
• Attention, LED light:
Do not look directly into the LED light!
Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations or
heavy mechanical loads.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, disconnect
the product immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation. After this, let
an expert check the product.
A safe operation can no longer be assumed, if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage,
- the product does not work at all or works poorly (flickering light, leaking smoke or
a smell of burning, the light flickers, audible cracking noises, discolouration to the
product or the adjacent surfaces.)
- the product was stored under unfavourable conditions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
• If you detect any damage while the product is in use, do not touch the product, there
is a danger of an electric shock!
Switch off the mains voltage at the mains socket to which the power cable is con-
nected (switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse).
Furthermore, turn off the earth leakage circuit breaker in order to disconnect all the
poles of the mains supply.
Only after this should you can remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
If you observe any damage, do not use the product any longer, take it to a special-
ised workshop or dispose of it in an environmentally friendly manner.
• A faulty power mains cable may only be replaced by a specialist!
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous play-
things for children.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the employer’s
liability insurance association for electrical systems and operating facilities are to
be observed!

technical service or another specialist.
