Cleaning
1. Clean the appliance daily; more often should it be needed.
2. Clean the lightly soiled glass hob and control panel with a soft, damp cloth and a
mild, non-scouring, cleaning agent. Wipe with a clean cloth.
3. For burnt stains, proceed as follows:
– moisten the soiled area with warm water,
– remove the soiling with a special glass scraper,
– wipe the place with the scrubbing side of a sponge for cleaning sensitive
surfaces,
– finally, wipe the surface dry with a soft cloth.
4. For limescale stains, apply warmed wine vinegar or commercially available
descaling agent to the area, wait for it to work, and then wipe off with a soft,
damp cloth.
5. For deposits caused by spilled sugar, melted plastic or aluminium, apply a
special glass/ceramic glass cleaner (with silicone if possible) to the surface, then
wipe the surface.
6. After cleaning, dry cleaned surfaces thoroughly with a soft cloth.
7. Ventilation openings at the back and bottom of the appliance should not be
obstructed with dirt nor dust. Clean them regularly with a brush or vacuum
cleaner.
8. Clean the dust filter and grease filter under the appliance regularly. It can be
removed for cleaning purposes:
– unscrew the screw and pull the
dust filter and grease filter out of
their slots,
– place it in a dishwasher or clean it
under warm running water,
– thoroughly dry the dust filter and
grease filter before reattaching it to
the appliance.
