The electrical circuit in the socket must be secured to at least 16A. Only connect the
device directly to the wall socket; do not use any extension cords or power strips.

Place the device so that the plug is easily accessible and can be quickly removed
from its socket in case of necessity.

5.3 Operating

Before the first use, the unit should be cleaned in order to remove possible remnants
after the manufacturing process or remainders of the packaging (see 6.2 Cleaning).

Place the enclosed funnel for filling on the casing and the container under the opening
for collecting ice.

  CAUTION!

For safety reasons the unit can only work when the funnel for filling is placed on the
casing and the container for crushed ice is properly placed (snapped) under the
collection opening. Only then will the switch operate.
If the funnel for filling or the container for crushed ice is removed, the device
automatically switches off.

Connect the device to the appropriate power source, and turn the ON/OFF switch to
the “I” position.

The ice crusher should operate empty for 2-3 minutes to check if there are any
eventual defects (for example, a strange sound of operation or a defective rotary
motion of the cutting blades).

NOTE!

Ice made in the first cycle after cleaning should be removed for hygienic reasons
and not used for drinks, because traces of cleaner could be left in the interior of
the unit.

  CAUTION!

Only ice cubes made in an ice dispenser should be given for crushing, and not ice
cubes from the freezer!

Fill the funnel situated on the top of the unit with prepared ice cubes and start the
process for crushing ice. To do this, turn the ON/OFF switch to the “I” position.
