 WARNING! Hot surface! 

The water tank gets very hot when in use!  
To avoid burns to fingers and hands, do not touch hot surfaces of the device! 
When using the device, touch only the handles and switches. 
 

  After you have finished using the device, turn the temperature dial to the „OFF“ 

position by turning it counterclockwise, then turn the device off using the ON/OFF 
switch and remove its plug from the socket.  

  Wait for any remaining water in the tank to cool, then pour it into another 

container.  

  The device is equipped with an overheating/dry heating protection function. If the 

device is accidentally left on with too little or no water, this function will be activated 
and the device will turn off automatically. 

  If the device is to remain unused for a longer period, 

turn it off via the ON/OFF switch, remove its plug 
from the socket and wait for it to cool.  

After cooling, empty the tank and press the RESET 
button at the rear of the device. The device can then 
later be filled with fresh water and used again.

6.1 Safety advice

  Before beginning with repair or cleaning works make sure the device has been 

disconnected from power supply and has cooled down. 

o

  Do not use any acid agents and make sure no water ingresses the device. 

o

  To protect yourself from electric shock, never immerse the device, its cables and 

the plug in water or other liquids.  

 CAUTION! 

The device is not suited for direct washing via water jets. 
Therefore, you must not use any kind of pressure water jet for cleaning the device!
