result in fire, electric shock and/or serious injury. Save all warnings and instructions for future

reference.

SAFETY

The warnings, precautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible

conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the operator that common sense and

caution are factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator. Read

carefully and understand all

ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

 before operating. Failure

to follow the safety rules and other basic safety precautions may result in serious personal injury.

Clothes dryer installation must be done by a qualified installer.

1

Install clothes dryer according to the manufacturers instructions and local codes.
Risk of child entrapment and suffocation; never allow children to operate, play with, or crawl inside the

appliance.
This appliance must be grounded. Connect only to a properly grounded outlet.
Install or locate the appliance only in accordance with the provided installation instructions.

DO NOT

place the dryer in steamy rooms or where the dryer is directly exposed to rain. Moisture may

destroy the electrical insulation causing an electrical shock hazard.

Use the dryer only for its intended use as described in the user guide. This type of dryer is specifically

designed to dry clothes. It is not designed for industrial or laboratory use.

As with any appliance, close supervision is necessary when used around children or incapacitated

persons.

DO NOT

operate the dryer if it has a damaged power cord or plug, if it is not working properly, or if it has

been damaged or dropped in any manner.

The dryer should be serviced only by qualified service personnel. Contact the nearest authorized service

facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.

DO NOT

cover or block any openings on the appliance.

DO NOT

put your hand in the spin basket during operation. The spin basket is rotating at a high speed

and the rotating parts may cause injury to your hand.

DO NOT

immerse the power cord or plug in water.

DO NOT

store or use gasoline or any other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any

other appliance. The fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion.

Keep the cord away from all heated surfaces.

DO NOT

install a clothes dryer with flexible plastic venting materials. If flexible metal foil is installed, it

must be a specific type identified by the appliance manufacturer as suitable for use with clothes dryers.

Flexible venting materials are known to collapse, be easily crushed and trap lint. These conditions will

obstruct the dryer airflow and increase the risk of fire.

Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in electric shock by providing a

path of least resistance for electric current.
