Make sure arrows on locking strip point towards rail above and place/snap in
bumps from locking strip into the holes of the pickets for all rails.
If the fence panels were cut shorter, then the locking strip will have extra
length at the end of the install. Use scissors or a knife to cut excess off, leaving
approximately 2" of strip after last engaged bump.
Stand up the "assembled" fence panel section and fully lock the pickets to the rail:
Place one foot on the top of the bottom rail, between second and third picket while at the same time placing a hand under the bottom of the top rail between second and third picket.
Push with foot and pull with hand until locking is complete (You should hear a snap). Repeat this process for the middle and end of the panel. All the pickets should now be "locked"
into the top and bottom rails.
Should the rail slide up during installation exposing the ProLock™ locking strip, stand the panel up vertically on a fi rm surface, inspect the overall height of the pickets to ensure the
tops are at the same level and inspect the locking strip. The dimple in the strip should engage the hole in the picket and rest fl ush against its face. Hold the strip in position while
bringing the channel down over the strip. Press down on the channel in-between the pickets working your way from one end of the panel to the other until you hear a "snap" which
indicates that the strip is in the locked position.
Slide rails over locking strips. Push fi rst picket into bottom rail, then
the second, folllowed by the third, etc. until the last picket. Repeat
this process for the top rails.
