DIGITAL VOICE AND SECURE DIGITAL VOICE - OPERATION

Secure Scrambler

Advanced Scrambler is automatically set when the transceiver detects a Digital

Voice Module. If this is not selected i.e. if settings have been changed, Secure/

Digital Voice communications will not be completed. The following procedure

details how to enable the Advanced Scrambler.

1. Go to [Protected Menu], [I/O Set-

tings], [Secure Scrambler], then

press

Use the scroll keys to select the

required option. Select Advanced

Scrambler for AES 256, DES 56.
