Volute
Loosen and remove the four 5/16 hex head bolts and lock washers from the volute. Remove volute and
square ring from pump.
Loosen and remove the two 5/16 bolts and fl at washers from the volute discharge. Remove volute
discharge fl ange and o-ring. Inspect cross-over and discharge for signs of accumulation of solids and
house hold items. Also, look for signs of excessive wear in the volute.
