Your NOOK finishes creating the profile. Your NOOK displays the Home screen for the profile.
Editing a NOOK Profile
The primary profile can edit his or her own profile, as well as other adult profiles and child profiles. An adult profile
can edit only his or her own profile. A child profile cannot edit other profiles.
To edit a profile, do this:
1. In the upper left-hand corner of the Home Screen, tap the icon for the profile currently being displayed.
A window opens displaying the profiles that have been created on your NOOK. If you do not see the profile you
are looking for, scroll the panel from right to left to display additional profiles.
2. Tap the
Edit Profile
button.
The icons of editable profiles change to show that they are editable.
3. Tap the profile you want to edit.
Tapping an adult profile opens a pop-up menu listing these choices:
• Change image
• Change name
• Update interests
• Manage content
• Remove this profile
Tapping a child profile opens a pop-up menu listing these choices:
• Change image
• Change name
• Update interests
• Change parental controls
• Manage content
• Remove this profile
4. Tap the menu choice for the change you want to make.
• Tap
Change image
to change the icon or thumbnail image that represents the profile on the Home
Screen and the screensaver.
• Tap
Change name
to change the name assigned to the profile.
• Tap
Update interests
to change the interests and channels associated with the profile you are editing.
• If you are editing a child profile, tap
Change parental controls
to change the profile’s access to various
types of content.
