Conditions

3.1.1.

Ventilation

In  the  combustion  process  stoves  absorb  air  from  the  surroundings.  To  allow  a    correct  natural  draught

and  users  comfort  make  sure  that  sufficient  amount  of  air  is  available  in  the  room  where  installation  is

considered.

Especially in highly insulated rooms make sure that the amount of air is sufficient for correct combustion

and that the room remains properly ventilated.

In rooms equipped with mechanical ventilation an outside air intake (around 50 cm2) has to be installed in

the chimney.

Before installation the chimney´s condition has to be verified. The chimney has to be clean and inspected

for leaks and sufficient draught. Make sure that the flue is not shared with any other appliance.

3.1.2.

Localization

Cast iron stoves emit heat by radiation of cast iron parts.  To provide an optimal heat distribution a central

location  is  recommended.  Due  to  high  temperature  of  the  cast  iron  make  sure  that  the  appliance  is

protected from children.

3.1.3.

Walls and floors

Before  installation  make  sure  that  floors  and  walls  are  not  combustible  or  covered  with  combustible

materials (i.e. tapestry, carpets, panels, plastic surfaces).
