Activating the polarizers
What has to be
done
The polarizers can be activated (bringing them in front of the lenses) via the menu or
via an RS232 communication link (see R909 manuals for details on RS232 communi-
cation)

To activate the polar via the menu, follow the next procedure:

Push the ADJ key to enter the adjustment mode

The service menu will be displayed

Press ENTER to select
The COMMON SETTINGS menu will be displayed

to select OPTION 1
Press ENTER to shutdown the polarizers.
OPTION 1 is now ON
