• Geometry: The edges of the image should have an intensity of
at least 15% video amplitude. .
• Phase: The image should contain sharp black-white transitions,
like a line pattern or characters.
• Gain Offset: The image should contain parts that are completely
black (0% video amplitude) and parts that are full white (100%
video amplitude).
Contrast
Contrast adjusts the brightest elements in the
image
on the screen,
while the darkest elements are not adjusted.
Note:
Adjusting contrast may affect the number of grayscales in
the image. If the contrast is too high or too low, some bright or
dark elements in the image may become invisible.
To select the center position of the adjustment (value 127), click and
hold the control wheel for a few seconds.
Brightness
Brightness adjusts all levels in the
image
on the screen, from dark to
bright.
Note:
Adjusting brightness may affect the number of grayscales
in the image. If the brightness is too high or too low, some bright
or dark elements in the image may become invisible.
Instead, if you feel the image is too bright or too dark, try adjusting the
Luminance (see further).
To select the center position of the adjustment (value 127), click and
hold the control wheel for a few seconds.
