7.5 Align and level the ILite rental feet
Why aligning and levelling the ILite rental feet ?
It’s of great importance that the ILite rental feet are perfectly aligned and leveled to avoid seams between the ILite rental tiles. The
ILite rental feet are the fundamentals of the ILite display. So, before continue with installing the ILite rental tiles ensure that the ILite
rental feet are perfectly aligned and leveled.
The procedure below describes and illustrates how to align and level four dual ILite rental feet. Nevertheless, the same procedure
is applicable for triple ILite rental feet as well and for all sizes of ILite rental displays.
Necessary tools
•
Spirit level of 100 cm.
•
19 mm open ended spanner.
•
Feeler gauge of 0,1 mm.
Necessary parts
Shim plates.
How to align and level the ILite rental feet ?
1. Align the positioning pins of the first and the second rental foot as illustrated. Use a spirit level (or ruler) of at least 100 cm. Ensure
that you place the spirit level (B) against the flange (A) of minimum six positioning pins. The maximum allowed space between
spirit level and each flange is 0,1 mm. Use a feeler gauge to check.
Max: 0.1 mm

2. Repeat step 1 with the neighboring rental foot until all ILite rental feet are aligned.
Tip:
After the last rental feet is aligned, check if all other rental feet remain aligned in this direction.

3. Place a spirit level upon the positioning pins of the first ILite rental foot and level out the first ILite rental foot in longitudinal
direction. There are 3 different possibilities to adjust the height of the rental foot:
- A : adjust the adjustable foot installed at the end of the foot beams. Ensure that the foot beams remain supported every 50
cm, so that the foot beams do not bend due to the weight of the LED-wall.
- B : place shim plates (S) between the rental foot and the foot beam.
- C : place shim plates (T) underneath the foot beams. Ensure that the foot beams remain supported every 50 cm, so that the
foot beams do not bend due to the weight of the LED-wall.
