Indoor LED display solution
The Challenge
•
Fuji TV network, a Japanese television broadcasting company,
comprises 28 stations reaching 98% of the Japanese population. For
its corporate headquarters in Tokyo, Fuji TV Network was looking for
a high quality display solution to be installed in the very bright
environment of their entrance hall.

Being a broadcasting company, Fuji TV wanted to show different
channels on the display, as well as live video and personalized
customer messages.

The Barco Solution
•
To get the best possible picture quality in high brightness environ-
ments, LED is the technology of choice. Fuji TV Network chose to
install a 5.80 by 3.14m ILite indoor LED display from Barco. With a
6mm resolution, sharp, clear pictures welcome their visitors. The
precision frame for the display has been designed in such a way
that it is elegantly mounted against the wall in the atrium.

Combined with the ILite 6 indoor LED screen, Barco installed its i-
Studio hardware and software solution. This allows Fuji TV to manage
a high number of inputs for the various TV channels as well as live
video and personalized messages. The result is a display with multiple
windows on a background image, each playing a different TV channel,
live video or text. Sometimes, visitors pass by a TV camera and see
their picture as well as a welcome message on the screen.
