2. FSN-1400 Orientation
Card LEDs

On the front edge of all cards, two LEDs indicate the card’s power status, and the status of
all FPGAs on the card.

Following are descriptions of the two LEDs:
1)
Card Power LED
The
Card Power LED
indicates power status for the card.
~
Green
= card power is OK.
~
Red
= power is bad (or has failed) on the card.
~
Off
= the chassis is turned off or power has failed.
2) Loaded
LED
The
Loaded LED
indicates the status of all FPGAs on the card.
~
Green
= all FPGAs are loaded successfully.
~
Red
= an FPGA is bad, or software has not properly loaded.
~
Off
= the chassis is turned off or power has failed.
Note
An
FPGA
(field-programmable gate array) is a semiconductor
device that can be configured by the engineer after
manufacturing — hence the name "field-programmable.”
