2.5 When the Demetra subscription is terminated
Instructions
1. When your regular Demetra Customer subscription is terminated, the Demetra Scope must be returned to
Barco using your original packaging (see “ Repacking instructions ” , page 43 ).
2. When returning the Demetra Scope to Barco, a factory reset needs to be performed, erasing all data from
the device. It is highly recommended to check whether all data from the device has been synchronized to
the Cloud before performing the factory reset and/or returning the Demetra Scope to Barco.
3. During a period of 60 days after the termination of the regular Demetra Customer subscription, all users
will retain viewing access to all data in the Demetra Web Application as before the termination. Until the
end of this 60 day period, users can request an export of all their data via the Barco helpdesk.
4. In order to retain viewing access to all data available in the Demetra Web Application beyond the 60 day
period after termination of the regular Demetra Customer subscription, you can subscribe to the Demetra
Extended License.
5. If you do not subscribe to the Demetra Extended License, Barco will remove all user and patient data once
the 60 day period after termination of the regular subscription has ended.
The Demetra Extended License is a term-based, cloud hosted entitlement that becomes available
to the Customer after the termination or expiration of the regular Demetra Customer License. Within
60 days after this termination or expiration, the Customer shall have the right to subscribe to the
Demetra Extended License at a specific recurring fee per year, which will be dependent on the
volume of images collected prior to the termination or expiration of the regular Demetra Customer
License. This Demetra Extended License would give the End-User viewing access to the Patient
Data and End-User Data in the web application collected prior to the termination of the regular
Demetra Customer License.
