Set up a wireless connection
The supplied Ethernet cable must
be used temporarily to set up your
Beolit 12 with a wireless
connection.
Wireless setup via cable …
> Connect Beolit 12 to a computer
using an Ethernet cable.
> Press the network button shortly.
> The network button flashes
white for about 60 seconds and
you hear a sound feedback.
Then it flashes orange for about
60 seconds and becomes solid
white.
> Enter the IP address
‘http://169.254.11.22’ in the
browser of your computer. If the
page is not displayed, wait a
while and refresh the page.
> Select the menu ‘NETWORKS’
and follow onscreen
instructions.
> Disconnect Beolit 12 from your
computer.
> The network button flashes
white*

and you hear a sound
feedback. Then it becomes solid
white and Beolit 12 is connected
to the network.
Set up a wired connection
For the most reliable network
connection use Bang & Olufsen
recommended cables only.
Wired setup …
> Connect Beolit 12 to the router
using an Ethernet cable.
> Press the network button shortly.
> The network button flashes
white*

feedback. Then it becomes solid
white and Beolit 12 is connected
to the network.
Your Beolit 12 can be set up in a
network either with a wired or
wireless connection.
To perform the setup, Beolit 12
must be switched on and we
recommend that it is connected
to the mains supply.
When your Beolit 12 is set up in
a network, you can change
different settings. For example,
you can change the name of
your Beolit 12 on the network
or update its software. For

*The network buttons flashes
white for some time and it may
flash orange shortly, before it

your flat, house or building.
