THE TABLE BASE (model T and TL)
The table base has 4 rubber feet. Each
foot can be tipped up which allows
the cord to be led out in the direction
of your choice.
The cover plate can be tilted to rest
on the tabletop. Under the cover
plate there is a note pad and a
directory for your stored phone
numbers.
MODEL TL
The model TL has buttons for remote
control of the volume functions in
Bang & Olufsen audio/video products.
The batteries for the remote control
function are placed under the lid
covered by the directory.
PLACEMENT AND CLEANING
Do not place the telephone in very
dusty or dirty surroundings. Do not
expose it to excessive moisture.
Clean the telephone with a soft,
damp cloth dipped in water mixed
with a few drops of mild detergent.

base unit containing the FCC registration
number and the Ringer Equivalence Number
(REN).
The REN is used to determine the quantity of
devices which may be connected to the
telephone line. Excessive RENs on the
telephone line may result in the devices not
ringing in response to an incoming call in
most, but not all areas, the sum of RENs
should not exceed five (5.0). To be certain of
the number of the devices that may be
connected to a line, as determined by the
total RENs, contact the local telephone
company.

BeoCom 1401, for repair or warranty infor-
mation, please contact Bang & Olufsen of

telephone company may request, that you
disconnect the equipment until the problem
