2.3 Start-up
In the case of devices with a time switch, check that this is set to "0".
Connect the cables (connect HF cable and main cable on the rear of the generator).
3 Operation
3.1
Mains plug (TG ...)
In order to switch on, insert the mains plug in the earthed socket.
To switch off, remove the mains plug from the earthed socket.
3.2
Timer (TG ... Z)
The generator is operated with the turning knob (time switch).
Timed operation:
• Turn knob to the right
Time range 1 - 15 mins
- Once the time has elapsed, the time switch automatically
turns off.
• By turning the knob back, the operating time will be shortened
or the generator will be turned off.
Continuous operation:
• Turn knob to the left

- The generator does not turn off automatically;
to switch it off turn the knob to the right, back to "0"
Notes:
- When turned off, the generator may remain connected to the mains.
It can be disconnected from the mains by pulling the mains plug out.
• The turning knob will be barely felt to engage if mains voltage is not present, e.g. if
the mains plug is disconnected or the fuse is blown.
The time switch will only work under mains voltage.
